We're a family business, built one micro-batch at a time.

Where it started

Noosa Coffee Roastery began with a moment, not a plan. It was the kind of morning that sticks with you, a good cup of coffee, shared with people we cared about, in a place we love, with nowhere else we needed to be. We wanted more mornings like that one. So we started roasting, perfecting every stage of the process and we built a business around trying to hand that same feeling to someone else, one bag at a time.

Where in the business of moments

We don't just believe coffee is a drink. We believe it's a moment, the first cup that gets you moving, the one you make for a friend who's dropped by, the one that gives you an excuse to stop for five minutes in a day that isn't offering any. Every part of what we do, from how we roast to how we package, is in service of that moment and the experience around it. We're passionate about making it special, every single time someone opens a bag of our beans.

Beans we can stand behind

We're careful about what goes into every bag, which beans we choose and who we source them from. We look for growers who care about their craft the way we care about ours, and we'd rather work with fewer suppliers we trust than chase the cheapest bean on offer. That care carries through into the roastery: we roast in micro batches so we can control every variable, the temperature, the timing, the first crack, the finish. It's meticulous. It takes longer than it needs to. But it's the only way we'd do it, because it's the only way we know how to keep every batch as good as the last.
